This story is spectacular, I just binged it whole beginning earlier last night.

It is certainly one of my favourite fanfics on this site, just besides that cyberpunky one of Seras.

x x to make this 50 words long x x

Thank you so much for sharing it with us, author-san.

Best regards and kudos to you :3

After days of axiety, this masterpiece has returned.

It's rare to see fan fictions that are not some type of self-insert, it's even less common to see ones with this level of worldbuilding and quality writing.

The grammar is concise and rich in expresion.

The characters feel alive and are not simply background decorations, they bring life and complexity to the story.

To be honest, this is worthy of being it's own franchise, in my opinion.

First off, I don't usually read fan-fiction, especially involving characters that I like, so choosing to read this was like pulling teeth. I've read books in both universes, so your writing is great, but sometimes jarring. Regardless, it's been a fun read and I don't regret it. I tried to set it down several times, but I kept thinking about it and coming back again and again.

Style - The story is well-crafted and the text leads from one interesting scene to another. More importantly, the choice of words and pace is so good that there's nothing to mention. Perfect.

Story - The setup and the plot follow in reasonable ways. It's enjoyable to read and I'm always left curious for what will happen next. It follows a standard mystery-solving format as the MC investigates enemy plans. I guess that's the Star Wars influence since it doesn't fit Tanya's prior story. On the other hand, putting Tanya into that role seems pretty strange for her considering her usual situation and characterization.

Grammar - Perfect. I've yet to notice a single error.

Character - Incredibly good. The characters are well-described and fleshed out. It's pretty simple to understand the MC, but the author is exceptional at bringing the side characters to life as well. Obi-wan being gender swapped was a surprise, but I didn't mind. The writing is wonderful, but that's also where my only complaint arises.

Having read Tanya before, it seems like her personality has shifted too much from the original material. In canon, she wants to avoid conflict by any means possible, but is too locked into the legal system. She's too afraid of her superiors, her culture, and her situation to escape from her fate. In short, she's a coward and a lawyer at heart, not a soldier. The beauty of Tanya in canon is that she commits atrocities because she feels like she has no choice in the matter. Likewise, she tries her best to set herself up legally so she can't be held responsible for actions that she knows are criminal. As such, your writing is beautiful, I love it, but at the same time, I hate it. It's good enough that I've rationalized around the disparity, but I still miss the feeling of the original character's ongoing moral dilemma.

If ever you wanted to see legendary icons in star wars just 'nope, I'm out' when a little murder blender gremlin shows up in the system, this is the story for you. It has all emotions here but if you know Tanya, you know what you are gonna get. And this is blended very well. Not just a pure Tanya with lightsabers, this is Tanya in Lucus's magnum opis, so buckle up and stay away from pill boxes.

Sine continues to have good writing quality

Great fanfic-- pretty rare to find well written fanfics with proper English: such as no tense mistakes, run on sentences, incorrect article usages, etc. Couple of comma mistakes here or there, but most people who aren't me care very little about such.

Story is great, I can read it even though I only watched the first season of Youjo Senki a decade ago. Most of the Star Wars stuff is only vaguely familiar from half-remembered prequel movies as well. I believe anyone could pick this up and start reading, since the world-building is done in a great way that makes sure anyone can follow along.

My favorite part is the blending of magic systems, having Tanya use her mage equations in the force is a fun way to bring the two worlds together, while still trying to keep things lore accurate overall. I've also read much farther ahead on the other sites where this is cross-posted, so I know the content to come is equally good and fun to read, so if you are a new reader, look forward to more!

Have thoroughly enjoyed this novel so far. Never watched the anime but everything is explained enough that i get things through context. Some things the MC's does feel a bit OP, like MC might not have a lot of room to grow, but so far I am thoroughly enthralled and i just want to read more. Another good addition to the star wars fanfic's!

Where has it been all my life?

Read it.

Nothing ruins a story like dumb characters making dumb decisions. Here, its the complete opposite, Tanya is shown to make clever decisions and work through problems 3 steps ahead of time. Its like the perfect game of dominos where ones story beat flows onto the next and solves the previous one with a neat bow. Yet leaving the reader with enough space to question what's going to happen next.

Author does not know Star Wars lore...

Reviewed at: 23

The story is decent, even if it requires some suspension of disbelief.

What I however cannot overlook and ruins my immersion are repeated gross contradictions/misunderstanding of the Star Wars lore itself. There are countless examples, but most grievous of them is not understanding what balance in the force means and other jedi going with it.

quote:

"balanced in the Force—and as far as I can tell, she is almost directly in the center between light and dark"

goes directly against the Star Wars lore. Dark force in the Star Wars universe is defined as imbalance of the force, that's why it's bad and jedi fight against it. Light force is defined as balance in the force.

There many more misconceptions like this throughout this story.

Other then this, the pacing is good and the story is fun. I would like to see more of the Star Wars world then the author is showing us. They are extremely different in that science can solve almost anything, there are hyper specialized worlds of all manner with unique tech etc. but first mission in this exciting universe is to a planet where people live in nature like barbarians...

Even though I might sound negative I still do enjoy the story and will keep reading it. I think the portrayal of Tanya's character is very good and accurate.

The brakes are off and the train is going to war

Usually i would not give a fan fiction a time of day, but it looks like i give Tanya a pass.

it is fun seeing a faithful adaptation of the lawful evil war/murder hobo playing in star wars settings

Tanya is never going to fall to the dark side, but will make everyone think she has under the sheer scale of her “lawful” war crimes.

and i cant state how much it helps the story that Tanya has never seen the source material so she is not wandering around knowing what is going to happen or who is going to be evil or a problem beforehand.

all in all the reader who loves brutal MC is going to be happy reading this.

A blessing from one of the Great Old Ones of the internet, may all of those younger than him look upon his works and learn how to write properly.

Tanya is written well by few authors, sine is one of the handful capable of it. It's a shame visha isn't going to be around to help tanya teach the universe why it shouldn't get between her and the nice quiet life she wants. Even if she really likes being a muderblender at times.

The best part is. Tanya doesn't need tonget her hands on any of the old sith superweapons like the star forge to be the best. She just logics her way through where everyone else either is on her side or gets mauled to death by methe addict tanya.

10/10 grammar

10/10 characters(even if I want Satine thrown into a sun)

10/10 fight logic

5/5 stars

Needs more of tanya handing sith lords their ass.
