Summoned after an unfortunate accident in hopes they could protect the world from a coming threat, Ben and his classmates are gifted another chance at life. With fame and fortune promised to whoever is willing to fight for the sake of the world it doesn't seem like a bad deal, there's just one small problem. Ben wasn't blessed with any magic or combat skills, just crafting and enchanting. While the skills themselves aren't useless they also aren't seen as being necessary to the coming war. Now not needed and alone Ben tries to find a place in the world while meeting some of its colourful characters along the way.

Love the story!

I absolutely love this story. I'm usually not a big fan of timeskips, and this story does a lot of it. But I feel like the story does it right. It's showing us enough slice of life, and "unimportant" crafting while still skipping several weeks if not months before sending the MC out on some adventurer that ends up being rather dangerous or important or impressive.
I especially love the way it is dealing with romance, proper romance in litrpg isn't that common. And I just love to see it slowly developing between the characters here, where they're young enough and inexperienced enough that they're not really noticing it and just really enjoying each others company.
I even enjoy the relationship with his God. Which is a rarity to me. You've several stories where an MC refuses to bow down to Gods, or denies Gods. And you have some where the MC fights against the Gods. Very few has a mixture of adding prayer to Gods while at the same time simply being friends with them. Myriad is amazing and I love it.
My only real complaint, is that as an litrpg it isn't really telling us as the MC is gaining stats. Frequently enough the author will show us the profile summary but unless you remember the old stats it has no indicator on what he has gained. Which wouldn't be an big issue if you got told about the stats he gained through the story, but you don't. You get told he's working on gaining stats, and class options gives him boosts on certain stats but you never get "Oh I just received 1intelligence!" or something.
It's bad enough set up where I kind of feel like we didn't really even need that as part of the story, the only thing he really uses are his resistances.

To many powers of emotions for me to handle

Nah, too many touchy-feely emotion-stuffed moments. Haven't authors moved beyond the power of emotions and stopped using as an escape for their MC ?
I'm stopping at chapter 29. In the end, this novel is disappointingly saturated with broken children who can't even stand to be touched, lacking the depth and originality needed to engage readers.

My First Review

The main character's unending creativity, continued misfortune but positive outlook and the slow build of power after trails and experimentation. While having all the fun tropes, characters, and events I enjoy. Lastly the 500 Chapter that left me with lots to read before catching up to the everyone that's up to date.

wholly unoriginal snoozefest
Reviewed at: CH12
Unoriginal story that does not engage in the least paced with fillers and padding.
Unoriginal characters, relationships and settings.
The crafting has no imagination nor relation to either reality or logic or fantasy, its just "happens".
His "patron god" is the only thing unique with this story but thats like saying a Orange is unique among a crate of oranges so it doesn't add anything.

If only a pain resistant skill came up

Let me paint you a scenario: you are stuck in a divine series of challenges, knowing that no one has ever completed, there is a reason why they called the creator a death god who has long ago passed away. Your only companion is a crab singer who will most likely starve before the second challange and you are nothing more than a crafter with nothing to craft with or with the ability to make use of your skills and knowledge. You find out that the challenge serie is normally completed with at least 20 people and there is no way out or a way to contact your friends outside. What do you do?
You break the divine rules and use your workaholic mindset to get things done. Best story arc of the whole story hands down. So creative, resourceful and emotional that it left a lasting impression and it was just one of the many story arcs. The characters and decisions are so based and believable, let alone the complex revenge plots. Because why kill someone if you can do a little extortion and blackmail to make a profit and spit on your enemies in 1 go. The whole story is a blast and I lookout for every new release.

Will get you hooked if given the chance.

Loved the story- consistent plot but not overdone, grammar conveys and conducts the meanings like copper does electricity, and LOGICAL plot holes for potential future chapters, along with very comedic timings and a very, very exasperated and supportive cast of side characters to complement the dramatic/artistic innovating craftsman MC, along with almost everyone(apart from side antagonists) having a working brain, not to mention the other stuff that is in the book that I don’t want to type out.
No critique here.

Rare gem
Reviewed at: CH737 Demon's Perspective
I prefer to read things that are completed but since this one is so long I gave it a try since even if I never get to read the ending it's still a lot of content to get through.
I like the amount of system updates/interactions, the intricacies of the magic system, and the focus on skills. There are very few litrpgs focused on crafting and only two others I can think of off the top of my head that have sucked me in this completely. I've started reading at least 10 others on here w a crafting focus that I've had to abandon early on due to boring or cringy writing, or for lacking in detail on actual crafting processes/system interaction. So I'm thrilled to have found this story & triple thrilled that the author seems to add chapters often enough that I can read each one as it's posted without forgetting what's going on.
If I had to be nitpicky I'd say the only things that I'd like to see less of are a few kinda cringy things about some characters that are constantly being repeated. Such as how often and easily Thera gets embarrassed, & frequency of comments from everyone about how crazy/unnatural/whatever that Ben is. It's not bothersome enough to matter but it's enough that I notice and have some mental eyerolls here and there lol. I prefer to only give constructive criticism; I'm not a writer though so I can't advise on how the author could improve on that. So even tho this wasn't constructive I'm including it just to show how much I'm enjoying this story--this tiny nitpick is literally the only thing I can think of to criticize at all.
Well, also Ben's status is getting so long that it can be annoying for me since I've had my phone read most of the story to me via text- to-speak and I don't want to sit through the long list of all his jobs, titles, skills, & blessings when he has so many. If the author ever plans to release an audiobook version of this story that might be something to think about, finding a way to abridge his status most of the time--maybe just list attributes/skills/etc that have been added/affected by the job change or awakening or whatever. & only display his full status in detail occasionally. Same with his job list--he has so many prospective jobs in his list, and takes jobs so frequently that I'm often having to grab my phone and unlock it and skip forward in the text which is of course my own problem since I'm sure I'm in the minority reading it this way. But still! Worth considering for future audiobook. Just list the recently added jobs, with the full list displayed on the rare occasions he hasn't finished a job in a while.
This is actually a pet peeve of mine for litrpg books with official audiobooks narrated by a person---status type things should definitely be read a little differently than exactly how it's displayed in the book. I feel bad for litrpg narrators sometimes lol.
Anyway, I got pretty off topic here but this is the type of rare gem that I'm always hoping to find more of----really fucking long stories that continue to be engaging the whole way through (instead of series we can all think of that start out amazing but quality drops a few books in and author keeps going when it should have just ended).

What an absolute treat of a story

I just caught up to the story after having read it non stop for the past month. What a journey.
The world building in this series is immaculate, every piece of knowledge fits in beautifully. The most appealing part of the story for me is the characters, the author has created an engaging cast that I have come to love. Seeing the interactions between Ben and Myriad has been an absolute treat, and don’t even get me started on the romance. It is definitely a slow build but so incredibly worth it. The story had me reading on my lunch break kicking my feet and giggling, just feeling extreme joy for the characters.
The development of Ben as well has been so interesting to watch and read, every ability in the series is well thought out with believable uses and drawbacks. I’ve lost my own plot in this review some already, but my final point is this:
No other story of RR has been this engaging, and this fun of a read. Every arc has been enjoyable, the character progression is amazing, the world is interesting, and the conflicts kept me at the edge of my seat. Here’s for another 600 chapters!

I can't believe I read it all

Good work on this story, there are a few issues here and there but overall the main character is kind, caring and not a murder hobo.
it takes a while for the author to break out of two personality types, but it becomes worthwhile.
It's also very rare to have so much torture of the main character without it becoming too much.
great work, would binge again.

Starts off like most Isekai with dying on Earth and be transported to another world followed by the MC having a skill and talent that is deemed basically worthless. This is usually where the MC finds out their talent is actually super OP, right? No, he is just a normal craftsman who is maybe slightly better than some people. Still haven't figured out why this story is about him and not anyone of his other co transmigraters instead. Would probably be a more interesting story.
Overall the writing, grammar, and characters are fine.
